Adventure Game Concept
[Introductory Sequence]
You grew up with your parents, living a poor life in rags, but you were happy enough with a simlpe life. As you grew older, you heard stories of the world, and decided you wanted to see what was out there. (A traveller passes through and tells you of wonderful and exotic places.)
When you turn 16, you decide, with your parents, that you will set out to seek adventure and perhaps fortune. You set off on a boat to wherever it is heading.
Time passes on the high seas, and finally the ship pulls into the cove of a small island. The ship pulls up to a small pier, just big enough to meet the large boat.
You hop off the boat onto the pier. Just on the shore there is a tavern.
